Out the front door |
I opted for the treadmill. Can't say I was too happy about it but at least all I had to do was walk downstairs instead of having to drive out to the gym in this weather. My schedule only had four miles on it so that wasn't too bad. Also, I set the pace at 8:27/mile which is usually slower than I end up running outside but that's really good for me(and my legs) to slow down. Second snow day for my kids so they are very, very happy about that. I should have been a teacher!
Have a great day and......Keep Running
My brother and his wife are in Disney right now...they said it's crazy how cold it is over there! Great job with the run! :0) It's nice to slow down every once in a while and change up the pace a little! :0)
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to wish I had a treadmill! Funny how I made it through the summer running in the Georgia heat and I couldn't WAIT for winter time. And for some reason it is soo much harder to get out there in the cold than the heat (for me anyway) I can't imagine what it must be like in Detroit!! Good run though.
ReplyDeleteI heard it was 37 for a couple days (thats outdoor weather for us) and it will be 50 today and just keep getting warmer
ReplyDeleteI had a treadmill when I lived in New England for precisely those kind of picture mornings. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteI have been opting for the treadmill too.
ReplyDeleteFortunately for me, it is supposed to warm up quite nicely when I arrive at Disney tomorrow ...
Brrr, that pic does look real cold!
ReplyDeleteWe still have yet to see any of the white stuff this season but I know it'll be here soon!! That picture makes me cold too!
ReplyDeleteoh man! i'm so jealous they got two snow days. i had to be satisfied with one...
ReplyDeleteour low tonight is 2*...i'll probably be on my treadmill as well :)
I ran the Disney Marathon a couple of times. One year - 30's; another year - 80's...
ReplyDeleteUgh - nasty weather! We got snow here, too, but not quite as much as that!
ReplyDeleteIt's freezing in NJ too!!! My friend was just in Florida, at Disney and yes, she said it was about 35 degrees!
ReplyDeleteYup, it's cold here too. But no snow day for us. I can't TELL you how many times I kick myself for not becoming a teacher (it was on my list for a long time)....
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower!!! Crazy weather here too. Not snow but lots of rain, flooding, wind, and a tornado not too far away today.
ReplyDeleteStay away from inflatable roofs ...
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow Michigander, I completely understand.
ReplyDeleteHey that sidewalk looks half way clean, you shoulda been outside. LOL. We had fog and temps almost 15 degrees cooler than yesterday but still probably 50 degrees warmer than you. 8-)
ReplyDeleteSnow days are definitely a perk of being a teacher! I used to love the snow days. We rarely get one of those where I live. :) Hope your kids enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteThat really looks cold. I'm sure if I lived there I would have a treadmill as well. My son would want to move there just for the snow days!
ReplyDeleteA brutal start to winter fer sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting over it. See next post! Thanks for all the comments. I would love to be in a warm place but I'm deal with the cards I'm dealt.
ReplyDeleteSorry, also wanted to say welcome to everyone that is new. I appreciate you listening to what I have to say and I also enjoy reading all your blogs. Boy there is a lot of them to read!
