Did my 7 miler outside today before the rain comes. Glad to be outside. Wind was coming in from the East so I tried to stay North-South as much as I could to help things. Looking like rain coming today and possible snow on Thursday. Hopefully not because I want to stay outside. Spring is going to be here before we know it and then I'll be complaining about running in 70 degree weather. Nope - no complaints on that.
I've got nothing else for today!!! Hey - sometimes that happens!
Have a great day and......Keep Running!!!!!
I'm really hoping I can get in a run outside today too! Great job getting a 7 miler in :)
ReplyDeleteIt's raining like crazy here. A nice cold one. Tulips are popping up though. : )
ReplyDeleteYep, raining most of yesterday and all night. But it will be 50 on Friday!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!
I hope you don't get snow! I hope that's over for the year here too! I am so looking forward to the 70s
ReplyDeleteIt is pouring outside today. I am checking out a new gym and hopefully will get a run in sometime as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat job...I probably should have run this morning but rain this afternoon for me!
ReplyDeleteNice work! Too bad we do not live in the same area. It would be nice to find someone to run with in the wee hours of the mornings!
ReplyDeletevirtual 5K complete! 23:15
I had to do my run on the treadmill today. I awoke to snow on the ground. I am not going to complain though because I actually got a run completed!
ReplyDeleteWe've got rain changing to snow, so expect it tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get rain and a little snow tomorrow. I really hope Mother Nature surprises us and keeps the snow away!
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining here a lot lately, but I will take that over the snow. Glad to here you made it outdoors.
ReplyDeleteWell, I ran my 'Virtual 5K' yesterday rather than the actual scheduled Pot of Gold race in Lexington on Saturday. Woke up Saturday to misty rain and near freezing temps which developed into 25 mph winds from the north with over 2 inches of snow already on the ground the hour before the race. Sooooo I wimped out and curled up on the couch with the kids to watch them play video games. Can you blame me?
ReplyDeleteAlong came a beautiful evening last night and I opted to put in my 'Virtual 5K' run. Slopping through the melting dirt roads, I crossed the finish in 23:44. Which given the condition of the roads, which made it feel like I was running in wet sand, I felt pretty good with my time.
I have another race on Saturday, The Leprechaun Loop, in Port Huron. Hoping the weather perks up a little better than the forecasters are calling for.
Stephanie - Yes, I don't believe we are too close. I'd like an early morning running partner but, I don't know, you're pretty fast for me! I'll put your time down.
ReplyDeleteKovas - that's what coming tomorrow for us as well. Darn. Treadmill again!
Drdave - Nice time especially in those conditions. I'll put you down. I have a St. Patrick's run as well on Sunday.
I think I'm going to have a big DNF for my virtual 5K, lame, I know. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteHey! Yes, still in for the virtual 5K. I'll have my info over by Saturday! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try to do the virtual 5k on friday, not sure if it'll happen or not :(
ReplyDeleteHey I did 3x3mi with each interval at 20:50, 21:04, and 21:04, could one interval count for a virtual 5K? :)
ReplyDeleteLaurie - that's Ok, it happens. But to guilt you into it, you did have 2 weeks to do this so that really is lame! :)
ReplyDeleteGiraffy and Meg - sounds good! Come on Meg, you can do it!!
Danny - Sort of. Give me an adjusted time for 3.1 and I'll put you down.
