This weekend I got a few new things related to running/blogging. Here they are:
The first thing I got was a great surprise in the mail. Steph over at In Steph's Shoes sent me a packet of her favorite sports drink - Hammer Heed Mandarin Orange. I love Mandarin Oranges so I'm excited to try out this drink and flavor. Many of you know that I have been trying to figure out how to hydrate better and get more nutrition in me when I'm running and this is a step in the right direction. Thanks Stephanie!! The second thing I got which really is not really related to running except that I need it for my running blog:

I got an Apple Airport Extreme, a Motorola DLS Modem and a wireless mouse. This helps provide a wireless and wired network in my home. My other Router and Modem died on me on Friday so I really did not even want it but had no choice. My mouse was giving me problems as well so I upgraded to the wireless bluetooth mouse. This mouse is awesome - no buttons - you just swipe your fingers over it to move things. My daughter was going crazy without WIFI in the house for her ipod touch. As you can imagine, a teenager without internet access for a day - oh, the world is ending. Haha!
Finally, this is the last thing that I got this weekend related to running:

Cool plate!! I received some HEED in a giveaway, and I have yet to try it. I guess I feel like I am not doing hard enough workouts yet to use certain products. Let us know how it works.

The Airport Extreme is awesome for network-attached storage. You just plug in an external hard drive and the set-up is super easy.

I freak out when not having internet so I can imagine it's total panic for a teen. Glad you are back up and running!
ReplyDeleteFunny you should post this because next weekend we are buying a new wireless something-or-another. Ours is dying a slow death and I keep loosing my internet! Grrr. Enjoy the Heed. I love all things Hammer.
