Past 6 months....

Rest day on the schedule today.  I ended up running my long run today at Stoney Creek for nine miles today.  I saw Ken from Eastside Stoney Creek TNT Runner and I also saw one of my followers???  Not sure who it was but she said, "Hey, that's Detroit Runner!"  Haha.  I waived.  Sorry I did not stop to talk.  If you read this, please post who that was.  I feel famous!

----------------------------------

The last six months.....

In the last six months,

1) I started training for a full Marathon
2) Continued to learn how to get my nutrition right(still working on it)
2) Ran in temperatures from 10 degrees to 80 degrees and winds up to 35 mph

3) Ran a 5k with a PR of 22:18 - Corktown!
My brother and I
4) Ran two half marathons with a PR of 1:44:06
Me, Rose(Hacker Half Marathon), Steph(In Steph's Shoes) at Rock CF
T & I before the Let's Move Festival Half
5) Ran my first full Marathon in 4:12:17
Bayshore Start
About mile 18?

6) Determined that the half marathon is really my favorite distance
6) Have ran over 600 miles in 2011

I hope the next couple years are as good and fun as that last two years have been.  My plan is to get more biking in this year and maybe even some swimming too.  I have a goal to do my first bi/triathlon in 2012.

Have a great day and......Keep Running!!!!!!
