Ok, here are the professional photo's from my marathon. I need your help. I'd like to get one. Maybe. What do you like? I put my top three first and they area all floating pictures. One I'm even waiving and I think that's around 18 miles too! Unfortunately, I don't have any good one's at the end of the race. Also, why wouldn't the photographer be coming at you with the time clock or at least the finish sign in the picture at the finish. WTF! The photographer must have been sleeping when I passed the finish line. A real bummer since there are like 15,000 other photo's of people crossing the finish line. I mean - who wants a picture 50 feet before the finish line????? I really wanted one with the finish sign in it. Damn! Too bad it wasn't a nice day too with a nice sunny clear sky. I'm debating about buying one at all. I also forgot to get a picture by the banner after the race too. Shoot! Oh well.
Man some of these are really bad!!!! Oh, well. What do you think out of the top three?
Have a great day and.....Keep Running!!!!!
My favorite of the top three is most definitely the one where you are waving!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above, but I like #7 a lot too!
ReplyDeleteHa! When I read your post title, I read it like "pro-marathon pictures"... and I was thinking - I'd like to see the "anti-marathon" pictures! Ahh. It's early.
ReplyDeleteLove the waving one. Also #3.
I love #1! You are smiling and it looks as if you are having a great time! So sorry about the finish line photos! That's a bummer!
ReplyDeleteI like #1. Crazy they didn't take any of you at the finish line. Same for me last year at the half...
ReplyDeleteI like #1 and #3 the most. #3 is good because there's alot of "action" in it. How nice to have decent race photos, I always look like some half dead creature in mine!
ReplyDeleteYou got some good ones! If your race photographers have a lost and found, you might want to check it out. Sometimes if they can't tell your bib number, you might get stuck in there...
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of good ones, but I'll vote for #2. Not that #1 isn't as good, but I'm voting for the normal/natural running pose.
ReplyDeleteI agree about missing the finish line photo. If the photog was a runner, he would understand the the pic with finish line banner + time clock + runner = money shot.
I like #3 because it is a good running shot. I'll tell you one downside of a finish line pic...the time on the clock is always more than your chip time. In a big race, significantly so.
ReplyDeleteI like #1 and #3 - 1 since you look like you're enjoying yourself and 3 since you look like you're in good form and it's really pretty with the background. How rare that you have so many good ones to choose from!
ReplyDeleteI like #1 the best, you look like you are having a blast. But really, they are all pretty dang good, I have yet to get a good one of me at a marathon!
ReplyDelete#3 is a winner in my book.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. I'm leaning towards none. Will let you know if I change my mind!
ReplyDeletedefinitely the wave and smile are the best!! Kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteWow. You are seriously marathon photogenic.
ReplyDeleteI love the one of you waiving! They got a lot of great pictures of you!!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm late on this, but LOVE the one of you waving with a lovely smile!
