Yesterday I went shopping for some new running shoes. Who doesn't always need a new pair. I have had a difficult time finding a pair of Saucony's on sale - my "go-to" brand so I decided to try on a new pair of Brooks Glycerin 8 at DSW Shoes.
WOW!!!! These things felt great....but....they were still $80 and that was on sale from $130!
So I went online and checked out Running Warehouse. They had them on sale for a little over $60 on closeout plus I had a 15% off coupon from Facebook. Final price.....$52 bucks!
Not only that but I got a free Brooks running hat and a free reusable shopping bag! Ka-ching!
I can't wait to run in these in two days.(free 2 day shipping) I would have bought a few more pairs but I really want to run in these 50 or so miles before I decide I can stick with them.

ReplyDeleteThey sell running shoes at DSW? Be careful of some of those closeouts and sales. Shoes have a shelf life even when they aren't worn!

ReplyDeleteI have found that my gym periodically hands out coupons for as much as 25% off particular brands. I purchased my KSwiss cross training shoes because of the coupon I had!
