  1. I love to look at the medals that people have earned. But then, I heard of a program called Medals for Mettle. You can donate your medals so they can be given to sick kids to feel like they have won a race as well. Helps to lift their sprits and maybe they'll win the race over sickness and claim their own victory.

  3. I like what you have done, and I like the fact that medals are special to you... I run a lot os races (32 road and 15 other) and done take medals. I have a box at home with 100s of old medals in, now I only take important medals like overseas races and marathons.

    Good luck for 2012

  4. Such a cool way to relive the racing year. Congrats on all of your medals and successes this running year!

My favorite was my Kalamazoo Marathon medal. It wasn't particularly cool looking, but it did commemorate my 2nd marathon and a 20-minute PR!

  5. Love this idea! Those are some great medals! My favorite was definitely my Ironman Texas medal, for obvious reasons. :) Hope you have a great 2012 running year!
