This, and this, and this...

5 miles on the schedule today....done!

I received an e-mail asking if I would share this link.  It's from Everyday Health and discusses some fun facts about the Marathon.  I enjoyed reading it and I'm sure you will as well.

Click HERE to read it.  It looks like their website has quite a few other articles that many of you might have an interest in as well related to healthy living.

Here's a great site that I got from one of my readers and fellow bloggers(Thanks Paul).  Click HERE to see Paul's blog and to read about marathon review around the World from people that have gone to them -- go to Marathon Guide HERE.

Well, I may not be running a marathon in the spring but I believe this is how my spring is going to shape up for races.  It would get me into the Half Fanatics club(not that I'm trying to get in).

Glass City Half Marathon 4/22
Back to the Beach Half Marathon 5/20
Dexter to Ann Arbor Half Marathon 6/3
Ann Arbor Half Marathon 6/17

That's four half marathons in 2 months!  Good for only the Half Fanatics first level believe it or not.  It is my favorite race distance but after that many in two months, it might not be anymore.  Ha!

It would be nice to see the them spread out a little more.  I really enjoy racing about once a month.

Have a great day and....Keep Running!!!!

  1. Hi Jeff,
    thanks for the blog mention..

"not that I'm trying to get it" ..hmm methinks thou doth protest too much ;)

Seriously doing 4 halfs in 2 months is racing, just a different kind. You can't go all out in each race. Think of it more like a bike stage race...a different kind of challenge that just running a a specific race as fast as possible.

t...just take it a bit easier so you can do all 4 and not get injured etc.

  2. I'm surprised 4 in 2 months only gets you the 1st level. Sounds like some good racing lies ahead!
