Work Gym and the Sprigs Banjees Winner!!!

7 miles on the schedule today.  Done!  Went over to Stony Creek for a quick loop and then some.  I even got to see Ken from Eastside Stony Creek TNT Coach action with his Team in Training team!

While I don't talk about my work on this blog, I did want to share something that I found out about my work that I didn't even know they had.  Come to find out that my work has a gym and fortunately, I am able to access it.  Wow!  Not that I go to a gym now but this could come in handy if I could not run outside or wanted to work out with different equipment.  They even have showers too so I can go to work early, workout and then go right to work.  Very cool.  I decided to go up and take a couple pictures of what it looks like.  What do you think?  Personally, I think it's a great benefit of working at the company even if I only use it rarely.  Thing about people that work there that don't have to have a gym membership.  That could be like $1200 in your pocket a year!

Pretty impressive in my opinion!

Sorry everyone!  I was supposed to announce the winner of the Sprigs Banjees Wrist Wallet this week but did not get to it.  At random, the winner was picked and it was......

Erica from This Spartan Will!.  Congratulations Erica!  I also follow her blog too(especially since she is from Michigan) and she is going to be training for her first Full Ironman!  Awesome!  Erica, send me an e-mail with your e-mail and I will have the people over at Sprigs contact you so you can pick out your Wrist Wallet.  Thank you again to Sprigs for sponsoring this great gift and supporting this blog and the running community!

Question of the day:  Does your company have a gym you can use?

Have a great day and....Keep Running!!!!

  1. That looks like a nice work gym – a great perk, especially if it's totally free for employees. I've been lucky in that each of the places I've worked since 2000 has had a gym available. A couple were free for employees, and a couple had fees (though the fees were much lower than the fees to join a public gym).

  3. Wow, that is a really nice looking gym! I don't have a workplace gym, but my College does have a really nice gym that is free to me, so it is kind of the same thing. I really should start taking more advantage of it though, that is for sure!
