I ran this in 2010 and the size of the field was overwhelming. I had a horrible race due to the extreme heat. This is definitely on my "must do" list for 2013. I want to run it and enjoy the crowd!
I guess I'm going to be there in 2013. My sister-in-law asked if I'd run it with her, she grew up in Chicago and hasn't been back in years. I prefer small marathons but I'm talking my self into getting excited about running Chicago! I have a note on my calendar at the end of the year to check when 2013 registration opens so we'll be ready!!
I agree it's a must-do. The experience and crowds are great, although the weather is iffy.
