Blogger new style
Why is it that companies always feel they need to "upgrade" their look? I'm talking about the new blogger application look. I don't like it. I like the old one. I like the fact that they gave you a choice to use the old interface and could use the new interface if you like. I find it much easier to use the old interface.
Google, bring it back, please.
--------------
One the running front, I've got my next half marathon, the Glass City Half Marathon, tomorrow morning. It's looking pretty cold - 42 at start with 33 realfeel temp; even the end is 48 and 42 realfeel temp. Winds of 10-15 mph. Long sleeves and long pants for me. That's mighty cold compared to last weeks half marathon where I was wearing shorts. Haha! Oh well, at least it's not supposed to rain.
Have a good day and....Keep Running!!!!
I was tired of bloggers "rules," etc., so I switched to WordPress. It's not perfect either (as it sort of depends what layout you choose), but I do feel like I have more control. HOWEVER, Blogger discontinued GFC for non-Blogger blogs and I feel like I lost a lot of followers. :(
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your half!
one of my worries in switching Kerrie.
DeleteI have the old interface bookmarked, and it lets me use it still. My skills are pretty bad either which way.
ReplyDeleteWish I would have done that.
DeleteI bookmarked the old too, although I am starting to get used to the new one. I just hate change.
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow!
Good luck and have fun running the half tomorrow! Sometimes I worry about the cooler temps when I've gotten used to warmer, but I seem to run better when it's cool and I warm up after a few miles anyway. Hopefully the wind won't be too annoying and just be glad it won't be hot. :)
ReplyDeleteI think you have just finished your half. I hope that things have gone very well.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the blogger new styles.
Sorry I am wrong, looking at the local time you are going to run the half.
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
Yeah, it's awful. Everything is too big and requires too much scanning and scrolling. It reminds me of the early internet where nobody thought out screen size when it came to websites.
ReplyDeleteUgh...I don't like it either. And the new gmail look... Google is trying to be all cutting-edge or something :P
ReplyDeleteYou can still roll back to the old blogger interface from the settings button up-right on the new blogger interface page.
ReplyDeleteI switched back.
I do not like the new blogger interface.
Thanks you for the input! I just switched back. We will see how long it lasts.
