Mizuno Mezamashii Project

Rest day on the schedule today.

-------------------

On Saturday, I received an invitation from Mizuno USA, Inc. stating I've been chosen as a founding member of the Mezamashii Project and also to enjoy a free pair of shoes!  Awesome!  Who's going to pass up an opportunity to try out their shoes?  There was only 600 invitations sent so I'm happy to be one of the lucky ones.  I've not run in Mizuno's before so I can't wait to try them.

Of course, one of my first thoughts was, what does Mezamashii mean?  Incredible.  Eye-opening. Brilliant.  Mizuno is looking for runners to find their brilliant run hoping that you will find that with their shoes.  I sure hope I find mine.

So here's the deal.  I get the invitation.  I'm sure many of you out there in running blogland will receive something as well.  Here's what it looks like:

What better way to convince runners that Mizuno shoes are the best out there than by giving serious runners a pair of shoes to run in.

You take your code and log into their site.  Click HERE if you want to see it.  You can also see a video about what they are trying to do as well.
As you can see, Mizuno has a special site set up just for this project.
After you log on, you can see where you are on the map and also where others have already joined.  I'm sure over the next month or so there will be many more dots.

Anyway, you go on the site and watch several videos(well done I might add), and can choose a pair of Mizuno shoes.  I can pick anything I want except for their Wave Phophecy shoes.  I've narrowed it down to the Wave Rider 15 or the Wave Creation 13.  Now all I have to do is call them and they will send them to me.  Once I use them, I do a review of the shoes on their site plus I'll likely do a complete review on the blog as well.

Next, I can pick someone that is "worthy" of receiving a pair of shoes as well.  Wow!  That's cool to be able to choose someone to try them out as well.

Originally when I received an e-mail a few weeks ago about asking for my address, I was a little put off by it but now I can see why Mizuno wanted to do it via mail with an invitation.  It makes you feel good when you get this and super happy to be receiving a new pair of shoes as well.

Now if I could only get them to support my running full time.  Haha!

More posts to follow as I go through the process and review the shoes.

Have a great day and....Keep Running!!!!
