Got my election day 5 miler in today. Ran by my voting precinct and there was one car there probably from some volunteer setting up. It was 5:30am when I passed it! Now that's dedication.
Only a little more than have of Americans voted in the last Presidential election. That's pitiful. Be one of those that does vote today. Don't think your vote does not matter because it does. So get out there and vote. I don't care who you vote for but exercise the rights our forefathers gave us. Run to the polls and back - it will give you some motivation to get out there for another run today.
Have a great day and....Keep Running!!!!
I am waiting in line to vote right now. 44 and windy and I'll probably be out here for another hour waiting but it's worth it.
ReplyDeleteIsn't America great? In fact being a canadian in america I like to say; isn't north america great? The freedom to vote and the freedom to get out and run without worry of being killed (on purpose) are two important things! Happy election day!
