Week #7
Wow! These weeks are flying by! It's crazy. Here's what my schedule had on it.
Monday 4 miles (Actual - weights pre-run, 4 miles, yoga post run)
Tuesday 8 miles (Actual - weights pre-run, 8 miles)
Wednesday 4 miles (Actual - 4 miles, yoga post run)
Thursday 8 miles (Actual - 8 miles on trails/cement)
Friday Rest (Actual - yoga)
Saturday 16 miles (Actual - 16 miles on trails)
Sunday Rest (Actual - yoga)
Total mileage: 40 miles
It was a big week for me. I have not run that many miles in a long time. I'm happy with this considering I changed up the plan and moved to four runs in a row and then active rest before and after my long run. My plan seems to be working with my legs holding up well.

ReplyDeleteI always say it takes 5 or 6 weeks to training for a marathon!!! so in 5 weeks time I think you will be cooking and ready to think marathon here we come...
