The road to Indiana....week #16

Indianapolis
Here's the schedule and actual week:


Monday 9 miles (Actual -  9.12 miles, yoga)

Tuesday 5 miles (Actual - 5.01 miles, yoga)

Wednesday 4 miles (Actual - 4.01 miles, weights)

Thursday 4 miles (Actual -  4.01 miles, weights)

Friday Rest (Actual - yoga)

Saturday Rest (Actual -Rest)

Sunday 13.1 (Actual - 13.1 - Detroit half marathon)

Total miles:   35.25 miles

A good cutback week in my taper.  It's funny how 35 miles in a week can feel so good.  I felt very good and am getting my legs back for marathon day.  Had a great trail run on Monday which was a nice change of pace and finished out the week with half #20 at the Detroit marathon.  An excellent week.

Up next week is another drop in miles to 24 miles.  I can do that!

    Can't wait for my taper week, I'm only on day 1 of marathon training, but my program is only 4 weeks! (I do have a good base)
