December Recap


This is always my rest month.  Not that I rest the entire month but I typically try and take off 7-10 days of running.  This year it was 9 full days off.  A necessary evil to keep me healthy.  Here's a look at the breakdown:

84 miles of running(first month under 100 this year)

0 miles of biking - nope

0 miles of swimming - yeah, right.

8 weights sessions

12 yoga sessions

Overall, a great month and I'm looking forward to 2014.  I'll have my 2013 recap up tomorrow.

  1. Yes you are right it is a necessary evil, something I don't do!!! haven't had a day off in over 2 years. That said I do have plenty of easy days, and every 4th or 5th week is easy.

    Look at this morning, I was out for 30min easy run, but then on my way to work I saw a couple of guys running, and I wished I didn't have to work and could head out for another run... I think I'm loosing it!!!

    1. Thanks coach. Took the time off and now my IT band hurts. See what happens when I do thr right thing? Ugh. Lol.
