Well I have to admit that I'm really nervous for half marathon #25. I know, I shouldn't be nervous with that many half marathons under my belt but since I've not been running much the last 10 days to ease an injury, I'm freaking out a little bit. Half number #25 will be

I love the fact that the race is so close to my home(about 15 minutes) so I won't have to get up at an ungodly hour to get there for the race. I love that it's in my backyard where I train on the course daily. I love that I've already run the race before back in 2012(it was half #7). I love that I know the race director Joe and that he puts his heart and sole into this race. I love that it's mostly trails and dirt roads and I love the theme of the race.
Who would have thought when I started running that running would take me this far? After running my first half marathon in 2010, I knew I would likely run another one but I had no idea.
No matter my time, the weather, or how I feel when running(or walking) this, it's going to be an epic race for me! I hope to see some of you there.
