Road Shark Run Virtual 5 mile race by Gone For A Run

As most of you know, I'm an ambassador for Gone for A Run website.  They have an awesome website that has really cool runner gifts for yourself or for a runner you know.  You can check our their website HERE.

They have a new Virtual race coming up called the Road Shark Run 5 mile Virtual Race.  This is the fifth race they have offered for their virtual race series.

Here's how it works -

• Run(or walk) a 5 mile run anytime, anywhere from July 31 - August 2 this year. 
• Post your running photos, a picture of your GPS, or running app showing the time and distance and share it on GoneForaRUN Facebook page.  You can also share it with them on Instagram and Twitter using hashtag #roadshark5
• Have fun!

Here's what you get for running the race:

A nice shirt.  The shirt is 60% cotton/40% polyester.  These shirts are super comfortable and fit true to size.  You also get a custom race bib, custom magnet and a custom medal for once you finish.

While it's a virtual 5 mile, the fun part about it is that you can run more if you want.  I've got an epic run for August 1 running my 35th half marathon along with this virtual race.  It's always nice to earn a medal after a run like that but even if you only want to do 5 miles, you can and five miles is a nice challenging distance.
